Meet The Artisan
With more than 41 years of leatherworking experience, Jamie Browning brings a lifetime of craftsmanship to Horse Cents Leather. Before joining the team in 2016, Jamie spent years refining his work with respected names like Pinkston’s and Walsh, where he designed and created the sport horse lines still featured in their portfolios today.
Known for his attention to detail and ability to take on complex custom work, Jamie’s most challenging project to date was building the chariot harness assembly for the King Tut Exhibit at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While his experience spans everything from tack repairs to custom equestrian pieces, his favorite items to create are handcrafted portfolio covers and leather bags.
Every piece Jamie works on reflects decades of experience, traditional craftsmanship, and a passion for leatherwork built to last.
